The children have been working hard on their cutting skills and made the most beautiful Christmas trees
As a reward for lining up well this term, we enjoyed a Hot Chocolate Pajama Party in the Staffroom. It was a welcomed break after all our hard work.

We had a very important visitor to our classroom today, the Poet Gerry Boland!! We had so much fun laughing as he read some of his very silly poems before we worked togethet to write 'The S Poem' as a whole class:

The S Poem

S is for SNAKE who ran up my pants,
S is for SNOWMAN who did a funny dance,
S is for SANTA with his head in a bag,
S is for sheep who married a stag.

We were busy painting last Friday. The children all worked so hard on their Christmas paintings, trying out new skills and techniques. We hope you like them at home too!

Time to celebrate!!!

Well done to first class. We had such fun performing our play one last time for all our friends and family, and boy did wr do a great job! We especially loved the wonderful facepaint to help us get into character!

We performed our Christmas Play 'A Miracle in Town' for the school today. It went sooooo well. Congratulations to everyone. All our hard work certainly paid off!

Our dance skills have certainly been improving this term.

Just dance!!

Welcome back to Room 6.

We have been very busy so far this year!

We finally finished Food Dudes today!! It's been great to taste all the fresh fruits and vegetables everyday and enjoy our stickers or prizes as rewards. Now begins our next challenge to eat fruit and veg from home. I wonder who will be first to win a certificate...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Room 6! We're especially proud of these clay snowmen and Christmas trees.

Our artwork got very spooky at Halloween. These dancing skeletons were especially fun to make!

We had lots of fun testing all of our five senses.

We have been busy working on our painting skills.
